Arson Probed At Hoddesdon Toilet Block

ARSONISTS struck at a Hoddesdon toilet block on Monday morning.

The blaze erupted in Cock Lane at around 11am.

Fire crews from Cheshunt and Hoddesdon raced to the scene of the small fire in the lavatory.

They donned breathing apparatus and employed backpack sprayers to douse the flames after around 20 minutes.

No-one was in the toilet at the time, and the blaze is thought have been started deliberately.
