Silver Ski Rockets - Luke Bowen

LUKE BOWEN

(born January 26, 1986, Harlow)

The 22-year-old from Harlow is one of the club's most popular riders, an affection earned by both his never-say-die racing attitude and sheer determination to return from a catalogue of injuries.

His first Premier League season in 2006 was cruelly cut short by a broken leg, but his 2007 campaign was a near ever-present one and brought a near five-point average.

With the metalwork now removed from his leg after a winter operation, the 'Bowen 747' starts the new season in the main body of the team.
